  • Student: Internships:The NAEC has limited opportunities for internships. Students interested in interning at the NAEC should talk with their CTE advisor about school internships with the NAEC, or send a resume and letter of interest to Brenda Townsend btownsend@cafhq.org 
  • Continuing Professional Education (CPE) provider with Texas Education Agency (TEA): Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center hosts teacher professional development and is accredited as a Texas Education Agency CPE provider

  • Summer Camps: Camp SOARCamp SOAR is a highly interactive and hands-on experience for rising 4th – 7th graders. Our camp’s focus will revolve around four tracks of engagement that are interwoven by connecting the dots between the past generation to the challenges of today. This camp truly reflects the NAEC mission to Honor the Past, Empower the Future by providing an experience your child won’t be able to stop talking about.
  • Aviation Discovery Zone: The Aviation Discovery Zone is a large hangar full of hands-on workstations where kids are DOING and LEARNING

  • Scout Badges – Scouting and other aviation merit programs will work through the required learning to master aviation and/or aerodynamic concepts

Corporate Opportunities

 

  • Corporate Team Building: Team Building Workshops are for corporate, nonprofit, and private groups of friends, co-workers, or colleagues. These fun, hands-on workshops are a great bonding experience that boosts morale, lowers stress, and stimulates creative thinking. Group workshops encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and exploration while teaching techniques in woodworking, metalwork, historical simulations, and more.
